Warranty and Repairs

As a retailer, we are legally responsible for the statutory warranty of our products. This means that we are the primary party responsible for the warranty of the product, even if the manufacturer offers a worldwide warranty.
Please check the warranty booklet for information on what is covered under the warranty. Keep this manual in a safe place so you can find it when needed.

  • General Warranty and Repair Guidelines

In general, the factory warranty covers defects in materials and movement.The factory warranty does not cover damage caused by daily use, excessive wear, or misuse of bracelets, attachments, and glass.The warranty does not cover water damage if the watch is not used according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.All watches are shipped on business days. The warranty does not cover battery life and/or battery replacement.The warranty is usually void if unauthorized repairs have been performed by someone other than an authorized distributor of the brand.

  • Warranty Repairs

For all brands we are an authorized retailer of, you will receive a worldwide valid warranty. This is the same warranty you would receive from any official retailer of the brand. We also provide assistance if you need to make a warranty claim. In all cases, the watch will be inspected and repaired by an authorized watchmaker or by the manufacturer itself.
If you wish to request warranty repairs, please contact us by email or phone as listed on the contact page.
If the issue with your watch is covered by the warranty, we will send it to the manufacturer. If the required maintenance is not covered under warranty, we will inform you as soon as possible.
In most cases, the repair time is about 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the availability of spare parts.

Water Resistance

People are often confused about what watch water resistance really means. It is important to remember that unless a depth rating is specified, water resistance only means protection against splashes. A watch labeled as water-resistant, without a depth indication, can withstand light splashes and rain but should not be submerged in water. Higher depth ratings indicate greater levels of water resistance. However, a watch rated for 30 meters does not mean it can be submerged to that depth. The rating is determined in a controlled laboratory environment, which is nearly impossible to replicate in real life. Be aware that temperature variations and external factors such as cosmetics, dust, or impacts on the crown can damage internal components without leaving visible marks and may affect water resistance. Following the manufacturer’s guidelines for care will help extend the lifespan of your watch. When changing your watch battery, make sure it is resealed and pressure-tested by a jeweler to maintain the specified water resistance.

  • General Water Resistance Guidelines

Water-resistant: Splash-resistant only

30 meters / 3 ATM: Resistant to small amounts of water (not suitable for swimming)

50 meters / 5 ATM: Suitable for showering

100 meters / 10 ATM: Suitable for swimming and snorkeling

200 meters / 20 ATM (or more): Suitable for scuba diving

Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with a product you received, you can, of course, return it.
You have 5 days to return your item, starting from the date of receipt of your package. If you return your package within this period, you can choose between an exchange, store credit, or a refund. In the case of a refund, Bijouterie Chichkhane will process it within 2 to 3 days (from the date we receive your return package).

  • Return Conditions

Returned products must be in perfect resalable condition, repackaged in their original packaging with all accessories included. In general, and in accordance with the law, we ask our customers to return items in a condition that allows them to be resold.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed as soon as possible after receiving your package. Please allow 2 to 3 days for all refund transactions to be completed.
All refunds will be made using the original payment method.
